We love wedding fairs and events - they're a great way to get out and meet people. From the point of view of brides, grooms and their families, they make life so easy! You get to see everything you need under one roof.
So whether you're just starting to plan your wedding or you're finalising the last few details, a wedding fair can really help. You get to see venues, cakes, flowers, stationery, cakes and, of course, entertainment! Being able to chat to people and see what they have to offer makes it far easier to make those all-important decisions; it's much better than endlessly perusing website after website. Are these flowers better, or these? Should we get our stationery from here, or here? How do we know it's the quality we're looking for? Well, if you go to a wedding event, you do know!
We're particularly excited to be part of Save the Date in Nottingham on Sunday 19th October. It's a really good wedding fair with some inspiring ideas for your big day. The organisers handpick their exhibitors, so you know you're really seeing the best of the best suppliers from Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and across the East Midlands.
They've got fabulous catwalk shows, interactive seminars on themes including wedding styling and hair dressing, and special zones so that you can piece together a wedding that really reflects you! Vintage is really big in weddings right now, so there's also a vintage corner. Men are getting increasingly involved in organising their weddings and many want to make a real effort to look their best too, that's why the grooms aren't forgotten at Save the Date - there's a blokes' zone just for them!
And of course, we'll be there! We are Adam Thomas & the Souljers - a wedding band based in Leicestershire. We play soul and pop classics at weddings around the Midlands, across the UK and beyond.
